Hello everyone! Welcome to Science on Sundaes.

We are two friends who share a passion for the Sciences! We decided to create 'Science on Sundaes' in the hopes of sharing our discovery into interesting topics, whether it be Biology, Chemistry or Physics related.

Before we get into it, let us first introduce ourselves! 

Hoi Kiu Wong - Co-Founder of Science on Sundaes

Hi everyone! I'm Hoi Kiu (pronounced 'Hoi Q'). I started Science on Sundaes as I have always envisioned to create platforms that would allow me to share my fascination for different scientific phenomena. Being curiosity-driven, questions like 'why?' and 'how?' lingers in my mind whenever I see something captivating. I hope that by sharing my findings around various scientific fields in this blog (and upcoming podcast! will post an update soon with more details) - from topics ranging from Heredity to Antimatter - you get to learn something new too!

Fun facts about me:

- a noodle enthusiast :) my friends all know my fav restaurant Tam Jai (just try not to drink the soup, contains way too much sodium.)

- I danced ballet for a long time and now enjoys dancing to Kpop songs. Can't really dance hip hop or jazz-funk well tho since my arm motions are very 'flowy' after years of dancing to classical music... 

- MIDZY (a fan of ITZY, which is a K-pop group)

- used to always draw and paint but now only occasionally since I'm quite busy TT 

- I have an older sister (Is that even a fun fact haha :D) 

Jasmine Chan - Co-founder of Science on Sundaes 

Hello legends on the internet <3 I’m Jasmine, nice to meet you :) I have always wanted to create a blog or a podcast to share my passions - one of which is science! I love to share my knowledge with other people and I believe that Science on Sundaes can perfectly combine my two loves: science and sharing! My favourite Science subject is Chemistry, and my dream is to hopefully become a licensed cosmetics chemist!

Fun facts about me:

- a makeup enthusiast - as you can all probably guess, I love to create new looks with makeup and research about ingredients in makeup and skincare

- I enjoy singing in my free time, especially classical music

- I have a Youtube channel and yes I only have a few videos because I'm lazy to edit - but editing is really fun (when I do have the time)

- my homemade overnight oats are great - probably my favourite food :))))

- favourite dessert: froyo with oreos (yes they are gREAT)

- obsessed with colourful things - but my favourite colour is still pink hehe
